WHY WE RIDE!
We all enjoy riding bikes, that is pretty much the reason why we are all members of the Blue Ridge Bicycle Club. Weather we ride to stay in shape, like hanging out with friends, or have a beer with friends on
Tuesday nights.We all ride because we like it! Later this year, on
June 7th and 8th, myself, Jeff Cutright, Kenny Wingfield and several others from the BRBC will be riding our bikes for the fight against Multiple Sclerosis. This will be my 7th year riding in the MS150 event. This is also the 20th anniversary for this event. If you like to ride your bike, enjoy riding for a great cause, enjoy eating and drinking like Kings and Queens, enjoy having someone else fix your bike if it breaks, sample some of the finest wines in VA, full sag support and see some of the most beautiful scenery in the state of VA, all while doing this in the fight against Multiple Sclerosis, then this is the ride for you. This is a WIN-WIN for everyone, please consider joining the team in
the fight against MS.
When a person is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, the changes that occur in that person's lifestyle often have an impact on the entire family. Your time and effort on the team will help provide programs and services to the 20,300 people in the Blue Ridge Chapter that are affected by MS every day. this includes the 2,900 people diagnosed with MS and their families, caregivers, friends and employers. The Blue Ridge Chapter commits at least 88% to funding these vital programs and services, and to funding research into the cause and cure of MS. Thank you for your support. Together we can make a difference in the fight against MS it's a fight we're determined to win!
By joining the team, you will be signing up not just for a weekend of fun, but also for a celebration of the great things we can achieve when working together for a common cause. By participating, you will bring us closer to a cure - and closer to a world without multiple sclerosis. So what are you waiting for? Join the team today. Right now we have 6 riders registered. With the BRBC membership approaching 400 members, I believe we can certainly put a team together of at least 12
members. This ride will have close to 800 riders on it.
